  1. Beck Lake

    Directions: 15 to 20 minutes from The Retreat. Take US-14 Alt West to Cody. On Edge of Cody City Limits along Wyoming 120.

    Types of Species: Black Crappie, Brown Trout, Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Rainbow Trout, Snake River Cutthroat, Yellow Perch, and Yellowstone Cutthroat

    Amenities: Bathrooms and Boat Ramp.

  2. Buffalo Bill Reservoir

    Directions: 30 minutes from The Retreat. Take US-14 Alt West to Cody. From Cody follow U.S. 14/16/20 west of Cody 12 miles to Buffalo Bill State Park.

    Types of Species: Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout, Rainbow Trout and Cutthroat Trout Hybrid, Walleye, Yellow Perch, and Yellowstone Cutthroat.

    Amenities: Camping, Bathrooms, and Boat Ramp.

  3. East Newton Lake

    Directions: 25 to 30 Minutes from The Retreat – Take Us-14 Alt West to Cody. Follow Wyoming 120 north from Cody 3 miles, turn left (west) on County Road 2ABN (Cottonwood Drive) and continue 1.5 miles to the lake.

    Types of Species: Brook Trout, Brown Trout, and Rainbow Trout.

    Amenities: Bathroom and Boat Ramp.

  4. West Newton Lake

    Directions: 25 to 30 Minutes from The Retreat Follow directions to East Newton Lake.

    Types of Species: Yellowstone Cutthroat.

    Amenities: Bathrooms.

  1. Shoshone River

    Directions: The Retreat is 1-2 Miles to closest point of the river. Runs parallel along US-14 Alt West from Ralston to Cody.

    Types of Species: Bear River Cutthroat, Brook Trout, Mountain Whitefish, Rainbow Trout, Snakeriver Cutthroat, and Yellowstone Cutthroat.

    Amenities: Bathrooms and Boat Ramp.

  2. Shoshone River North Fork

    50 minutes From The Retreat – Take US-14 Alt West to Cody. The U.S. 14/16/20 parallels this stream for many miles west of Cody. Watch for WGFD Public Fishing access and USDA Forest Service access signs.

    Types of Species: Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Mountain Whitefish, Rainbow Trout, Rainbow Trout and Cutthroat Trout Hybrid, and Yellowstone Cutthroat.

Hunting Laws & Regulations in Wyoming
